Reports rank Nashville area lowest for unemployment, 11th best place to live

Nashville-Davidson County has the lowest unemployment rate in the country for its size.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Nashville- Davidson County- Murfreesboro- Franklin area reported 2.7 percent unemployment rate for February. That's the lowest rate in the country for cities with a population of one million or more.

This comes as U.S. News and World Report ranked Nashville as the 11th best place to live in the U.S.
